Hi folks! Travis here. You may have met me already, but if not, I hope we get to meet soon. I’ve been with Nexus IT Consultants now for three years. Working here is so great. It feels like just yesterday that I joined this fantastic team. The employees here are great, and we have terrific customers and partners as well.
My favorite part of working here is being empowered to be creative and find solutions. I attribute the success that Nexus has had over the past 20 years to the integrity of our team and their ability to move with technology trends. We aren’t stuck in our ways, like other IT companies. We’re always looking for innovative solutions to help our clients achieve their goals.
The entire IT service industry is stuck because most companies like ours operate under a reactive model rather than a proactive one. This is essential today as businesses rely on their technology more than ever. Without a reliable, secure and efficient system, their operations would collapse. Plus, with the cyber mafias out there always looking for ways to steal your data, you need a proactive team to shut them down before they get into your workstations, laptops and mobile devices.
I’ve worked in the Sales and Account Management field for nearly 20 years. My experience originated in the Commercial Financial Services and Banking Industry. I transitioned into professional and B2B Sales and Sales Management. I’ve also owned and operated multiple companies, so I know a lot about running a business.
I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management in 2001 from the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business. I am also a member of the Sandler Sales Institutes’ Presidents Club.
I’m not one to boast. However, I thought I’d share that I was awarded the Sales and Marketer of the Year (SAMY) Award from Utah Business Magazine in January 2013. Here’s the link to their site if you’re interested: http://dev.utahbusiness.com/articles/view/the_samy_awards_1
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and four kids. I’m a Competitive Baseball Coach and avid attendee of my three daughters’ dance recitals and competitions. So, as you can see, grass doesn’t grow under my feet.
On a more personal note, the PR folks here wanted me to answer some interesting questions. Here we go:
Okay, I’m glad that’s over! Now back to Nexus IT Consultants and how we set up IT environments that take care of themselves. How do we do this? With cloud computing.
Unlike other IT companies that sell someone else’s cloud service, we are a self-contained cloud service provider. Our solution is called the InfiniCloud. IT’s available for a very affordable fixed fee based on the number of users you have. It’s not a one-size-fits-all solution like other cloud products. We configure it to fit your unique business needs.
If you sign on with us, we’ll provide a Free IT Security Assessment, so we know what gaps exist in IT system and if there are any hidden virus infections in your files or applications. Then we sit down and discuss what your short and long-term business goals are. We can suggest specific tech solutions to help you achieve these goals.
With the InfiniCloud, we can monitor your network 24/7 to remediate any issues before they cause downtime. Plus, we can keep watch over your system, detect any cyber threats, and block them before they can get in. This is what I mean by the setting up your IT environment so that it can take care of itself. (It’s really us constantly working behind the scenes.) If you do need an onsite visit, your designated tech will respond quickly. We know how important your technology is for your business success. And, as your IT Partner, when you succeed, we succeed.
That’s it for now. As I said, if we haven’t met, I hope we can soon. We have locations in Park City, Salt Lake, and Provo. If you’d like to learn more about our fabulous, talented team and why we’re the first choice for businesses in Northern Utah, please give me a call at or (435) 659-2533. You can also contact us on the Web at https://www.nexusitc.net/contact-us/.
I’d love to speak with you. Maybe we can go out for a steak or some sushi!
