In our latest live stream, Earl Foote talked with Dale Majors, Founder of Venture Anyway, on personal growth and professional development.
How do entrepreneurs achieve success?
It’s a question that countless books and seminars and other professional resources attempt to answer. But sometimes, the easiest way to find out is to simply ask — that’s why our latest live stream featured a chat with Dale Majors, an active and successful entrepreneur.
In this recent live stream, Nexus IT Consultants’ Earl Foote and Dale Majors discussed their journeys in the business world, and how Dale went from buying and selling salvage freight on eBay, to where he is today:
Dale Majors is the Founder of Venture Anyway, a professional coaching firm for CEO and business leaders. He didn’t get to where he is today overnight though — achieving success takes time and commitment, and that’s one of the first things Dale will tell you.
“I knew it was going to be worth it, and I was very willing to work for it,” says Dale. “I didn’t need to have some sort of instant success.”
Dale started his career in e-commerce, buying and selling salvage freight on eBay. He quickly developed that hobby into his own business, which he eventually sold when it reached annual revenue of $10 million. Since the sale, Dale has spent his time investing in other e-commerce brands and running his coaching business.
“I had a lot of helpers and mentors along the way that I latched onto,” says Dale. “It’s about having a vision for yourself, and realizing that it can take a long time to get to.”
