Nexus IT has donated to the International Committee of the Red Cross in support of Ukrainians during the Russian invasion.
Nexus IT is excited to share that we have made a $1,400 donation to help Ukrainians during the ongoing crisis. The Nexus IT team has come together to give to those that need it most—we couldn’t be more proud of them.
Last week, our Community Action Committee met to discuss whether we could extend our charitable initiatives past those already planned this quarter. We wanted to include those that need our help in Ukraine, and our team responded with a resounding “yes”.
Many members of the Nexus IT staff contributed significantly above the suggested donation. As a company, Nexus IT then matched these contributions, and in the end, we raised a grand total of $1,400! This money has been sent to the donation to the International Committee of the Red Cross (IRCR), earmarked specifically to support the Ukraine Crisis.
The IRCR is an independent, neutral organization ensuring humanitarian protection and assistance for victims of war and armed violence. It takes action in response to emergencies and promotes respect for international humanitarian law and its implementation in national law. The IRCR let us know that our donation will allow them to provide food and water to public shelters and expand their support beyond the more than 60 health facilities they already work with.
Once again, we’re so proud of our team for committing some of their own money to help those in need. As always, Nexus IT is committed to giving to those that need help, and we’re proud to know our team actively reflects that commitment.
