As a proud member of our community, the Nexus IT Consultants team understands how important it is to give back. The more we grow and succeed as a business, the more opportunity we have to give to those in need.
That’s why we’ve chosen to continue our support of the local healthy food initiative, Eat Awesome Things at School (EATS). We will be donating a silent auction item to their upcoming annual fundraiser, Fork in the Road, which will be held on April 21st at Legacy Lodge /Park City Mountain. With more than 200 local community members in attendance, it’ll be a huge event, and we’d like to help make it a success.
Founded in 2013, EATS aims to improve the nutritional value of the food eaten in schools by changing the culture around food. Most kids reject healthier food, and so EATS promotes the benefits and variety of nutritional food by holding lunchtime taste tests and after-school cooking classes, and providing school gardens and from-scratch lunches. Supported by dedicated school staff, generous donations, and countless volunteer hours, EATS continues to work toward its goal of enhancing the Park City school lunch program to provide healthy, tasty, and affordable food for our children.
The Nexus IT Consultants team is proud to work with an organization like EATS. We’re looking forward to our next chance to give back to the community – be sure to check out Fork in the Road and other EATS events.
